Christmas 2008

For the first time Rambutan had a Christmas Eve party as well as our normal Christmas lunch. The kids were great at both events providing the entertainment. There were the normal 60 odd kids but luckily Indonesian kids are pretty well behaved. Enjoy the photos.

Putu Yeni

Putu sadly left Rambutan after 10 years. Putu was a very loyal and dedicated worker and was extremely popular with our guests. We will miss you Putu and we wish all the best in your new life in Germany and there is always a warm welcome for you at Rambutan.

Giant tree Gesing

This giant tree situated near Munduk is about 700 years old. Possible to walk into the middle and great for climbing

Yesterday woke up to a lovely fine day so decided to take good friends on my Lovina tour where we visited the giant tree in Gesing, had lunch on top of the world looking down to the Bali sea.
